La luz encendida del Check Engine en el Volkswagen Golf no debe pasarse por alto ni tampoco tomarse como una catástrofe.
El Check Engine simplemente nos está indicando que algo debe ser atendido en el motor u otra parte del vehículo afin de evitar un paro repentino o un daño mayor.
También es verdad que en algunas ocasiones si podrá tratarse de unn problema más o menos grave, y aunque el vehículo seguirá funcionando en condicones de Check Engine encendido, es verdad que lo hace solo en modo de emergencia, pues el vehículo ha sido diseñado así y no pararse a la menor falla.
Aunque muchos conductores pueden conducir su Golf con la luz del Check Engine Encendida durante muchos días incluso años, porque aparentemente no pasa nada más que una luz encendida, la situación real es que el vehículo no está funcionado en condiciones óptimas, y por ejemplo estará gastando más combustible que el necesario, estará contaminado excesivamente, produciendo desgaste innecesario del motor, etc.
Muchas de estas fallas si se mantienen un tiempo prolongado terminan en costosas reparaciones que pueden evitarse tal como sugiero se haga el el vídeo de más abajo.
En cualquier caso seguir los consejos que se describen en le vídeo casi siempre nos darán un resultado positivo y eliminando la alarma del Check Engine.
En situaciones en que el daño no es visible y el Check Engine está encendido debemos recurrir a un escaneado del vehículo, al final tendremos una serie de Códigos de Falla con un número que no siempre será claro y debemos recurrir a la tabla de Códigos de falla para saber de qué se trata o qué componente está involucrado o dañado, por esta razón es bueno acudir a la tabla que más abajo aparece para información adicional.
La siguiente tabla de Códigos de Falla del Volkswagen Golf es bastante extensa y cubre todas las psoibles fallas que pueda presentar el Golf, esta tabal debe utilizarse como referencia para detectar daños y la presencia de la luz del Check Engine.
Antes de pensar que un "determinado elemento se encuentra dañado" conviene revisar ciertos puntos básicos como los descritos en el vídeo al final de este artículo y no comprar el primer elemento que nos diagnostique el escaneo.
